Pierrick Le GallMy name is Pierrick LE GALL. I founded the Piwigo project in 2002.

This blog is about Piwigo. As described on piwigo.org, Piwigo is a photo gallery software for the web, built by an active community of users and developers.  In its 7 first years the project had the name PhpWebGallery and became Piwigo in february 2009.

In 2010 I’ve decided to make Piwigo my full time job. I’ve also started the Piwigo.com project, which is a hosted Piwigo solution. In the mean time, I keep working and leading the Piwigo project.

  1. Make piwigo so that users can open their own accounts and have their own pages without waiting for the admin to approve. That way they have control of their own pages.

    • Hi Tm,

With Piwigo + plugin Community, you can say that users can create their own albums and upload photos without validation by administrators. Doesn’t it reply to your need?
